Robert Moore possesses a sincerity and courtesy reflective of his Idaho farm upbringing. Born 1957 in Burley, he was raised near the Snake River which sparked his appreciation for nature.

A contemplative, quiet individual, Moore discovered art as a way to freely express his feelings. Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree with teaching credentials in art from Eastern Oregon State College, and then a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center College of Design in California. Moore majored in illustration under a full scholarship and graduated with honors from Art Center.
